Kanu Robbed Of Over N4m In Russia

Kanu Nwankwo arrived in Russia to play the FIFA legends game, but had a terrible experience to his trip.

The former super eagles star had £8,250 (about N4 million) stolen from his suitcase in Moscow, Russia.

According to The Sun UK, Kanu reported the money missing when he reached Kaliningrad.


Russia’s Interior Ministry has said two loaders at the airport were the primary suspects.

The spokesperson for the ministry, Irina Volk, said: “The stolen cash was removed [by the loaders] and will soon be returned to the owner.”
