Kanu Nwankwo Recovers Money Stolen From His Luggage In Russia

Retired Super Eagles player, Kanu Nwankwo has recovered the money stolen from his luggage on arrival at the Moscow airport over the weekend.

It was confirmed by the local police Local police earlier on Monday morning that Kanu was robbed of around $11,000, equivalent to N4million which was removed from his luggage on arrival at the Moscow airport.

Kanu told AOIFootball.com that the local police have returned the stolen money.


“Yes it’s true that the money was stolen from me, but I can confirm to you right now that I have my money with me and I’m grateful to the security agencies for helping to recover it back,” he said.
